Once channels have been downloaded to the Roku device, it is important to move and reorganize the layout of the channels so that apps with readily available content (such as Pluto TV, Tubi, CBC Gem or YouTube) are shown at the top rows of the channel layout. So when patients turn on the device they can easily access these channels without having to scroll around and look for them.

Moving Apps

To move apps/channels on the Roku device, follow the video or steps outlined below:

Written Process

  1. On the Roku remote, use the directional arrows to scroll over to the app that should be moved
  2. Press the * button on the remote
  3. Scroll up and highlight “Move channel”
  4. Use the directional arrows to move the channel to the desired located in the app layout
  5. Press “Ok” on the remote once you have the channel in the desired location

Channel Layout

Channels on the Roku device should be in the following order to make it easier for patients:

Row 1: Live TV, Pluto TV, & Tubi

Row 2: CBC Gem, YouTube, & Roku Channel

Row 3: Roku Getting Started, CTV, & Global

Rows 4 onward: Any additional apps the user may want
